Callala's collaboration with the Satellite Applications Catapult on the UK Space Agency Methane Data Programme further showcases its expertise in market engagement and insight discovery. Working alongside the Catapult, we facilitated the adoption of GHGSat industrial point-source methane emission data across UK industries, providing identification of methane sources, for organisations committed to environmental stewardship.

Callala’s approach combines market analysis with strategic stakeholder engagement.  We make assessments of ESG-related disclosures across key methane-emitting sectors including oil and gas, waste management, and water treatment, and link these with international legislation through direct engagement with industry leaders.  Ultimately, Callala developed and reported a detailed and crucial set of insights into sector-specific applications and adoption drivers for Satellite Applications Catapult and the UK Space Agency.

The project's insights aim to shape both policy development, industry practice, and programme continuity.  In turn the goal being to drive greater transparency in emissions reporting, enhancing UK inventory reporting, and accelerating the resolution of asset management failures. For Callala, this strategically aligned work was focussed on translating technical capabilities into tangible business value and advancing the UK's position in space technology.

Callala supported the Satellite Applications Catapult in the areas of market engagement and insight discovery on the UK Space Agency funded Methane Monitoring Data Supply for the UK Programme.

Working alongside the Catapult, Callala facilitated early engagement with methane emitting industries which led to these organisations signing up to the programme. From this work, Callala prepared a report which gave insights into sector-specific applications and adoption drivers for Satellite Applications Catapult and the programme. These insights are helping to shape policy development and industry practice.

The Satellite Applications Catapult is grateful to Callala for their insights and commitment on the Methane Monitoring programme.
